The Treasurer of Arlington County periodically sells property at Public Auction to satisfy delinquent Taxes / Fees. Property in Arlington County can be sold if there are two or more years of delinquent taxes. Arlington County does not sell tax liens. The sale process is a court proceeding and the sale is held at the time and place designated by the court. There are no fixed dates for such auctions. Arlington County Treasurer Carla de la Pava announced on Monday, July 20, that a 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan will be auctioned to satisfy the owner’s debt for delinquent personal property taxes and unpaid parking tickets. The public auction will be held on Tuesday, July 28 at 11 a.m. at 2631 S. Shirlington Road, Arlington, VA 22204. Interested bidders may contact the Treasurer’s office at 703-228-3162. Further information may be found in the attached notice of sale.
